A Passion For A Fashion Show

Hello my lovelies,

It’s been an extremely hectic week following our fashion show, taking place at the Wheathampstead Memorial Hall in support of the Hertfordshire Federation of Women’s Institutes fund raising event. I think I can say on the behalf of all of the gorgeous Mandy’s Heaven angels that it was a great success! The event involved 7 models, 7 dressers and 36 outfits, of which were carefully put together by myself, with input with from customers along the preparation process. The entire Mandy’s Heaven in – house store had been set up at the venue for women to purchase clothes that had been seen on the catwalk as well as other pieces that we had not had the opportunity to show.

I must say, despite them all being such lovely ladies, the fact that many of our pieces are exclusives and we only have in small numbers, meant that much of the clothes were being chased by more than one woman. However, through demand, I will try my best to get them back in stock for you all!

I take great pride in the fact that our models are real women, real mums with real figures and real lives. They included those from both our online store and members of the Women’s Institute, of which represented the real reason behind the WI and Mandy’s Heaven, and that is to provide fashion at realistic prices, for real women.  

It was also fantastic to see an audience full of many familiar faces, that despite not being a part of the Women’s Institute, I have had visit my shop. The Women’s Institute were incredibly supported throughout the whole process, and I had such a lovely time learning about the events in which they host and what they do as a collective group. I hope to see them in our shop soon!
